Yxbacken Extreme Challenge by E2C is "the toughest 7 km race there is," where participants take on the challenge of climbing up the ski lift slope and down the family slope five times in a row. The race, organized by Norrköping Running Club and Norrköping Ski Club, took place on October 19, 2024, with over 250 runners participating. For the first time, the children's race Lilla Yxbackenloppet by E2C was also introduced, where enthusiastic kids fought their way around the course and proudly received their medals.
